About the rol:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team in a pivotal role that supports the organization’s financial operations. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately managing purchase and expense postings, ensuring that daily purchase invoices are recorded against purchase orders and tracking any discrepancies that may arise. You will also play a crucial role in the investment process by creating and managing asset files in accordance with accounting rules, while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the related operations.

Your expertise will extend to treasury and credit control, where you will post daily bank entries, report extraordinary transactions, and perform weekly reviews of collections and payments. Collaboration will be key as you work alongside the finance team to prepare monthly and quarterly financial closings and assist with external audits.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes by identifying areas of risk and enhancement within purchasing and treasury operations. Maintaining an organized internal document system and fostering a culture of ongoing improvement will be essential aspects of your role.

As you engage with various departments across the organization, your ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders will be vital in ensuring that our financial objectives are met and aligned with overall departmental strategies. This role not only demands a strong financial acumen but also a commitment to compliance and best practices in health and safety.

We offer: 7 months full-time contract to cover a maternity leave and with possibility of staying

 

Key Tasks:

Purchase/expense posting

  • Daily recording of purchase invoices against purchase orders
  • Track purchase incidents against purchase orders

 Investments

  • Create AF under accounting rules.
  • Understand the operation of AF purchases, receipts, mapping with QA, amortization of AF...

Treasury and credit control

  • Post daily bank entries.
  • Daily reporting of extraordinary entries
  • Perform a weekly control and report of the updated situation of collections and payments.
  • Collaborate in the remittance of payment to suppliers.

 Reporting

  • Collaborate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly closings.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of information requested by external audits.
  • Set up and prepare reports to assist internal management.

 Processes and continuous improvement:

  • Collaborate in the definition of purchasing and treasury processes identifying areas of risk and improvement.
  • Organize and maintain the internal document system: purchase invoices, tax filings, company documents....
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the areas of responsibility ensuring that processes are constantly reviewed, analyzed and adjusted.
  • Collaborate in all those tasks required by the management.

 

Key Working Relation:

Reporting Structure:

  • You will report to the Financial Controller, ensuring alignment with the overall financial strategy of the organization.

Collaboration with Finance Team:

  • You will work closely with the finance team to coordinate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve common goals.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • You will have to engage and collaborate with various departments across the organization, including operations, sales, and project management, to ensure financial objectives are met and aligned with departmental strategies.

External and Internal Communication:

  • You will maintain regular communication with other companies within the group and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and funding agencies, to facilitate financial processes and ensure compliance.

Requisitos

Skills & Qualifications:

  • M.S. degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar.
  • Medium-high level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Capability to achieve jointly developed goals and deadlines.
  • Capability to work autonomously in between periodic check-ins with superiors.
  • Ability to re-prioritize actions in an agile manner towards the joint goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
