About the role

As a QC Molecular Biology Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our processes and products comply with applicable quality standards and regulations. You will be a key player in leading the development and validation of new analytical methods, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with teams to optimize our processes. Your technical expertise and critical thinking skills will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Tasks:

Write and review SOPs, protocols, reports, and other laboratory-related documentation.
Contribute to the development of new analytical methods and improvements in validation processes.
Maintain accurate records of development and validation activities, and ensure proper documentation.
Analyze, interpret, and evaluate experimental data to ensure compliance with guidelines and/or specifications, and present results to management and/or project sponsors.
Collaborate with other teams to optimize processes and solve technical problems.
Train other team members in development and validation practices, as well as in regulatory compliance.
Participate in internal and external audits.

Key Working Relations:

Reports functionally to the QC Molecular Biology Manager
Quality department
Project Management and Business Development
Operations (Manufacturing, R&D, MSAT)

Requisitos

Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Deep knowledge of molecular biology analytical methods (qPCR, dPCR, sequencing) and data analysis.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, developing and executing analytical assays, as well as writing laboratory documentation or scientific papers.
Exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
Proficient in both written and spoken English.
