We are looking for an Intern Biostatistics to form part of our Data Science team. Here, Data Science is a core competency, and every day we work to enhance our capabilities and deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

What You Will Do:

  • As an intern, you will have a pivotal role in supporting statistical analyses related to the AAV (Adeno-Associated Virus) manufacturing process. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the biotech industry while contributing to impactful projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • · Collaborating with team members to define objectives of statistical investigations and identify key questions guiding our analytical efforts.
  • · Cleaning, transforming, and preparing datasets to ensure data reliability and suitability for analysis, employing best practices in data management.
  • · Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies within datasets, enhancing our understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • · Supporting the development and validation of statistical models, applying them in contexts such as qualifying small-scale representations of large-scale processes, characterizing processes, and setting specifications.

Requisitos

About You:

  • · Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field encompassing knowledge of linear algebra, mathematical analysis (including numerical analysis), inferential statistics, and probability theory.
  • · Familiarity with statistical software (preferably JMP), object-oriented languages (e.g., R, Python), SQL, and relational databases.
  • · Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • · Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • · Fluency in English.
